ABOUT ME

I am a graphic designer/developer specializing in web/UI design, motion graphics, and video. Over the years I've designed and produced numerous web sites, videos, marketing presentations, and eLearning courses for a wide variety of clients.

I graduated from the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography. I began my career working in the photo industry. In the 90s, as digital media began to eclipse traditional imaging, I began digitizing my own photographs and taught myself HTML and Photoshop. I went back to school to obtain a certificate in multimedia from Portland State University. Soon after graduation, I took a position as a multimedia developer working for a small start-up in Portland, OR. I eventually became an independent contractor working on web and multimedia projects for clients such as Intel, Weyerhaeuser, Georgia Pacific, and SAS.

In 2002, I began working on a major eLearning project for Nike, Inc. I joined the Nike staff in 2003 as a senior level web developer working on the Sports Knowledge Underground (SKU) learning project.

In 2005, my family and I relocated to the Pittsburgh area, where I returned to contracting for clients such as Nike, Intel, Whirlpool, Coca-Cola, and many others.
